March - St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival
Enjoy all things Irish at the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade & Festival. Kilted bagpipe players and Irish are just part of the entertainment. Children enjoy the rides and inflatables. Be sure to catch the annual parade, featuring more than 5,000 participants. April - Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival
Washington, D.C. isn't the only place celebrating cherry blossoms in bloom! For more than 50 years, people of all ages come to this annual celebration of Japanese traditions. This annual event draws over 200,000 people. The Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival features a grand parade, a kid's corner, live music, food, and more.
May - Carnaval
This annual event is one of California's largest multicultural events. San Francisco's Carnaval is a two-day event that happens toward the end of May. The event features international music and foods, along with arts and crafts. There are entertainment and activities on every corner and don't miss the Grand Feature Parade with beautifully decorated floats.
June - North Beach Festival
This festival is held in what is known as San Francisco's Little Italy, the legendary Barbary Coast, and home of the famed beat generation. A popular event for more than 60 years, the North Beach Festival includes a blessing of the animals, a chalk art area for children, and Italian street painting.
July - Fourth of July Fireworks Over The Bay
The annual Fourth of July fireworks over San Francisco Bay is one of the most spectacular displays in the state. The fireworks are set off from two locations: the end of the Municipal Pier and from barges in front of Pier 39.
September - Oktoberfest By The Bay
Celebrate German traditions at this annual event held along San Francisco's Pier 48. The event features German beer, food, and music. A three-day event, Oktoberfest By The Bay is held every September.
October - Fleet Week
San Francisco is home to perhaps the most celebrated Fleet Week in the United States. Celebrated over Columbus weekend, this yearly tradition started in 1981. Enjoy a performance by the popular Blue Angels and be amazed by the thrilling skydiving team, the Navy Leap Frogs. Additional event highlights include tours of battleships and K9 demonstrations.
New Year's Eve Fireworks
Ring in the New Year by watching fireworks light up the San Francisco sky. The display begins at 11:59 and last approximately 20 minutes.
Bay Lights Charters
