How to Plan a Private Event on the San Francisco Bay (Without the Stress)
Dreaming of a private event that’s memorable, meaningful, and totally out of the ordinary? A private charter aboard Gas Light offers all that — with none of the venue headaches. Whether it’s a milestone birthday, intimate wedding, team celebration, or ash-scattering ceremony, here’s how to plan your sail with ease.
🌟 Step 1: Choose Your Occasion
We host everything from micro weddings to sunset cocktail parties, team offsites, anniversaries, memorials, and more. Not sure if your idea fits? Reach out — we’ve probably done it!
🗓️ Step 2: Pick a Date and Time
We sail daily, most often from 11am–1:30pm or 3pm–5:30pm. Custom times are also available. Your date is secured with a deposit, and we’ll guide you every step of the way.
📍 Step 3: Select a Docking Location
Board from Alameda (Marina Village), Pier 40, or Pier 15, or upgrade to Sausalito or Richmond for an additional fee.
🍽️ Step 4: Choose Food & Drink
We offer gourmet catering — or bring your own food at no extra charge. Our full-service bar offers flexible options: hosted, cash bar, or drink tickets.
