Replicated after an 1800s Tall Ship schooner that used to shuttle supplies between San Francisco, Sacramento and ports in between, tall ship GAS LIGHT is a majestic vessel that is capable of carrying up to 49 passengers.
She is a luxury yacht that features a large and spacious speakeasy-like large open cabin below decks where you and your guests can comfortably escape any weather concerns. GAS LIGHT has plenty of above-deck and below-deck seating space so you and your employees’, family and friends will get an awesome view of the bay from wherever they feel comfortable hanging out.
Gas Light is an extremely stable and smooth boat. You can place a glass on the decks and it won’t move. This means no tipping or heeling over! If you are planning an evening or nighttime charter, your group will get to view a beautiful spectacle of Christmas lights that make the coastline shimmer. Time your charter around one of the many boat parades to add extra delight for you and your guests!
Food and Drinks for Your Holiday Party
Bring your own food or let our team help arrange catering that fits your group and celebration. From appetizers and festive grazing tables to a more substantial meal, we can help you explore options that work well aboard the boat.
Our fully licensed bar can be hosted by the organizer, offered through drink tickets, or made available as a cash bar. Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
Make the Celebration Your Own
A standard private charter is 2½ hours, with additional time available. Your group can relax and enjoy the views, play a favorite holiday playlist, exchange gifts, recognize employees, toast the year’s accomplishments, or simply spend meaningful time together.
Guests may also be invited to help raise the sails or take the helm under the crew’s guidance. Your experience can be festive and lively or comfortable and relaxed—it is your boat for the celebration.
Depending on your departure location and conditions on the Bay, your cruise may include views of the San Francisco skyline, Alcatraz, Angel Island, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the surrounding waterfront.
